General information
CCA has created a safe environment that is only accessible by our members and offers the possibility to browse caregiver and family profiles containing detailed information*. This is not a placement service and we don't prescreen either the caregivers or the families on the web site. We are not acting as a recruiter; however this is an opportunity to contact caregivers or families and to learn more about the program in Canada.
* Caregivers can only see family profiles, and families can only see caregiver profiles.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I check the size and quality of the database before subscribing?
CCA does not offer demo or trial memberships. However, ourvolunteers are happy to inform you on the number of registered families and caregivers when you contact us.
Once you are registered, you have direct access to the contact information of the caregivers / families* in the database.

* Caregivers can only see family profiles, and families can only see caregiver profiles.
What about my privacy?
It is CCA’s policy to respect the privacy of its members. CCA will not monitor, edit, or disclose any personal information about any user nor will CCA disclose information about the use of the database by any user without that user’s prior permission unless CCA has a good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; (2) protect and defend the rights or property of CCA; (3) enforce the Terms and Conditions; or (4) act to protect the interests of its members or others.
CCA, from time to time, must access your account in order to perform in accordance with the Terms and Conditions or to respond to service or technical issues.
I found a caregiver / family in the database. Can CCA make further arrangements to bring the caregiver to Canada?
No. CCA is NOT a recruiter or agent for any placement or recruiting agency and we CANNOT help you in locating an agent for any agency. As a part of your membership you may request a list with agencies in Canada, their respective ranking and the fees charged, but it is up to you to take further steps.
If I become a member of CCA, does that make the services of a recruiting agency irrelevant?
Keep in mind that we are NOT a placement or recruiting service and that we don't prescreen either the caregivers or the families in the database. We just offer our members the chance to get in contact with each other.
How can I subscribe?
- Go here
- Read the different membership types with their respective benefits
- Select the preferred membership type in the drop-down menu
- Fill in the Membership Application Form
- Click on 'Apply for Membership' (this directs you to PayPal)
- Complete the payment (this redirects you to your profile page)
- Fill in the rest of your profile information

What is the duration of my membership?
While selecting your membership type, you can choose between a 1-year, 2-year or 3-year membership.
Extention of membership is possible, by contacting us.
How can I cancel my membership?
By contacting us. Your membership fee will not be refunded.
